Once again Caer Cadarns has proven that we are fully capable of finishing content in era and that a family friendly raiding guild is a good fit for many active raiders on the Phinigel server!
It has been a fantastic - and of course sometimes challenging - journey that lead us to the moment when the above pictures could be taken, and this is all thanks to dedicated raiders, knowledgeable raid leaders and the spirit of Caer Cadarns!
Thank you for the fun, everyone, I'm as proud as ever to say: we did it!!
It is with final win in the Elemental Planes that Caer Cadarns now proudly announces that we are heading for Plane of Time next!
Rathe Council down
A big "Thank You!" to everyone who contributed to getting Caer Cadarns Time flagged by researching, planning, organizing, refining strategies, leading, coaching and - most importantly - participating in raids! Thanks and grats all! =)
Caer Cadarns' journey towards Plane of Time continues and we got our annual bath as well as a Coirnav kill in:
Grats all and thanks for the fun! =D
Another succesful kill in the Elemental Planes for Caer Cadarns!
Last weekend Caer Cadarns visited Solusek Ro's Tower again for some extra flags, shinies and general sight-seeing.
Unfortunately, as we learned the hard way, there are some hardcore encounters that do not present themselves on first glance and have to be mastered first…
And so it happnened that one of our finest and high-ranking member (Lostenya, name changed by the editorial staff) finally met her ultimate nemesis in the tower which looked this:
After a few panic attacks, verbal (polite) outbreaks and undefined noises on discord from her, our always helpful members rushed to assist her in defeating this imposing and challenging foe!
Which turned out to be a challenge of its own, as she was nowhere to be found, poor signal reception in the tower led to unresponsive communication attempts and the thorough descriptions and advices she recived via discord looked to her like this:
*sigh* ok, time to do it the hard way…
A fearless pink (and still ugly) frog quickly huffled and shuffled and jumped up and down the stairs and clicked his way through the braziers to her rescue!
And so he found her at last helpless with a big sign over her head:
With the timely assistance of the *yack* frog she managed to defeat her new nemesis and rejoin her fellow guild members on their path to deal swift retribution on the burning prince!
But after all the rush and excitment we decided to not risk a premature heart attack of our fearless adventurer and so we went for a bit of backflagging in the rather straight forward Halls of Honor to give even more our our own access to the Elemental Planes.
Well, we had much fun that evening and I had tears of laughter in my eyes from listening on discord. Breathing was a challenge at some points, but as the experienced CC raider that I am, I as up to it!
And that is what makes it fun for us playing together, because not only the kills count, but the way we do them together is what's most important (and much more hilarious sometiems)!
I will try to keep you update with more "behind-the-scened" news from CC!
Fennin Ro down and we got a nice picture for the photo album:
Grats all! =D
This marks the next phase for Caer Cadarns in Planes of Power:
Caer Cadarns now has full Elemental Planes access! Thank you to everyone who made it happen! =)
The past two weeks since the launch of Planes of Power have been very succesful for Caer Cadarns and we have, again, proven that there is high demand for a family friendly, European prime time, raiding guild that provides a home for both social players and raiders on the Phinigel server. We are currently filling our raids to the last spot and are working on progressing in the Planes, but also farming the last of Vex Thal.
I'm proud to share a selection of some of Caer Cadarns' recent boss kills:
We have prioritized to flag as many members as possible over competitive progression, but there is no doubt that Caer Cadarns will be in the Elemental Planes next and then, soon enough, in the Plane of Time.
It's safe to say that Caer Cadarns stands strong and that it has been a journey to get to where we are today. This journey has only been made possible thanks to the many friendly, helpful and knowledgeable members who together form the guild we enjoy being a part of and having fun with. Thank you and continue being awesome!
The possibly most popular EverQuest expansion, Planes of Power, will go live on Phinigel server on Febuary 1st and we're seeing many old members return to Caer Cadarns as well as a healthy influx of new additions to the guild.
Caer Cadarns is the oldest European prime time raiding guild on the server and therefore well established, with a solid reputation of being respected and about fair play. We're always happy to welcome more members, both social players and raiders! Post your application to join in the Application Forum and you, too, can enjoy Planes of Power in the company of other like-minded players.
This is what we have to look forward to, everyone:
Let's rock Planes of Power, Caer Cadarns! <3
I'm very happy to share the following update with you:
All the hours farming key pieces for Emperor Ssraeshza, then the hours farming the lucid shards, and then of course helping guildies do the same, have finally paid off!! Caer Cadarns always aims to kill raid zone bosses in era and we have shown that we are capable of just that.
Grats Caer Cadarns on this outstanding achievement - now let's get ready for Planes of Power!
After a lot of hard work, commitment and dedication, Caer Cadarns can proudly say that THIS happened:
This is a milestone in the evolving story of Caer Cadarns and I am very proud to lead a guild that worked tirelessly to help
fellow guildies get keyed, improve the strategy and finally kill Emperor Ssraeshza without using any shady or questionable
methods to do so. Good job, Caer Cadarns!
This is for each and every one of you who made it possible:
See you in Vex Thal! <3
As promised, here are some exciting updates on Caer Cadarns' progression in Luclin:
That's right! Caer Cadarns killed Lord Seru and it was a really smooth kill which was rewarded by very nice upgrades for our members. We are planning on visiting Lord Seru many more times
We have quite a healthy raid force, but there is always room for more. We're especially looking for clerics and melee dps! Read more about this family friendly, active, raiding guild in the application forum or contact us in game!
Caer Cadarns has been on a sssssssssnake hunt and we can now add Vyzh`dra the Cursed's cycle and Xerkizh The Creator to our first kills!
We also killed Rhag 1 and 2 and the Arch Lich, so it was a good night for Caer Cadarns!
Watch this space for more exciting news on Caer Cadarns' progress through Luclin!
Until then, please visit our application forum for more information about Caer Cadarns and how to submit an application to join us =)
Avatar of War down!
Awesome job Caer Cadarns, this was such a well deserved win that I am so proud of to have shared with you all!
The start of Caer Cadarns' raiding in Luclin could have been better, as the Luclin raid instances were bugged and no boss mobs were up in them. We simply had to return to Winter Wonderland for a bit, which went very well, but we're of course eager to enjoy all that Luclin has to offer. With the instance bug now being fixed, we're again focusing mainly on Luclin raids!
Caer Cadarns killed Rhag 1 and 2 and Arch Lich Rhag`Zadune and we now got a taste for snake blood. The guild focus is now to finish the Ssra Emperor keys and we're doing great progress, with target date set to October 23rd:
Also, few spell drops have been so wanted or longed for as this:
You could almost hear all the casters sighing of relief when we finally got a couple of copies of KEI
